VEB.RF says to issue floating rate bonds for 50 bln rbl in Oct–Dec
SOCHI, Krasnodar Region, Sep 16 (PRIME) -- Russian state development corporation VEB.RF plans to issue floating rate bonds for 50 billion rubles in October–December, Senior Banker Konstantin Vyshkovsky told reporters on Thursday on the sidelines of a banking forum.
“We plan to offer the market our new instruments with a floating interest rate, the so-called floaters, where the rate will be tied to RUONIA. … For about 50 billion rubles by the end of the year, which is the fourth quarter,” Vyshkovsky said.
He also said that VEB.RF expects the amount of bonds offered in 2021 to total 250 billion rubles.
“We expect that we will place 250 billion rubles of bonds on the market this year. This is an absolutely record-breaking figure for us,” Vyshkovsky said.
